The Model is responsible for working with application data and databases. The View handles what the user sees, such as HTML pages and user interfaces. The Controller connects the two, processing requests and deciding what should happen.

This separation creates a cleaner application structure. Instead of putting database queries, business logic, and HTML into one large PHP file, each part of the application has a specific responsibility.
